Nomination Fees & Secure Payments
1. Overview
This page explains nomination fees, payment timing, and the refund policy summary for the ECDMA Global Awards 2026 cycle.
Important: Judges are invited professionals and participate on a volunteer basis. Nomination fees (where applicable) cover administrative processing of entries and do not influence judging, scoring, or outcomes.
2. Fee types
Fees depend on the category type published on the Website:
- Free categories: some categories are free to enter (no nomination fee).
- Paid categories: some categories require a nomination fee, payable at submission.
The applicable fee (if any) is always shown on the category nomination page and at checkout. If there is any discrepancy, the fee displayed at checkout controls for that nomination.
3. Standard and Late periods (2026)
| Period | Dates | Nomination fee (paid categories) |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | 12 January 2026 – 12 April 2026 (23:59 UTC) | €300 per nomination |
| Late (if offered) | 13 April 2026 – 20 April 2026 (23:59 UTC) | €500 per nomination |
All fees are listed in EUR unless otherwise displayed at checkout. VAT or other taxes may apply where required by law.
4. What the nomination fee covers
For paid categories, the nomination fee is consideration for Administrative Processing, which may include:
- receiving and processing the nomination submission;
- eligibility screening and administrative validation;
- routing to the appropriate category and judge assignment workflow;
- placing the nomination into the judging system;
- administering the evaluation process and communications;
- calculating the Final Score and publishing results.
The fee is paid for the evaluation service and process administration, not for winning.
5. Payment timing and methods
Payment is due at the time of submission for paid categories. A nomination is considered submitted only after successful payment and a system confirmation receipt.
Payment methods are shown at checkout and may include card payments via a secure payment processor. For invoice requests or payment assistance, contact [email protected].
6. Refunds (summary)
Fees are generally non-refundable once Administrative Processing has commenced, except where required by applicable law or where expressly provided in the official Terms & Conditions.
Examples of limited refund cases may include:
- duplicate or erroneous payment for the same nomination due to a technical error;
- verified system failure that prevented any submission after payment;
- category cancellation where reclassification is not feasible;
- cycle cancellation prior to judging commencement due to Force Majeure.
Please read the full Terms & Conditions for the complete, controlling refund and dispute policy.
