Chris Igwe 🇫🇷

After an illustrious 10 year career working on iconic, award winning civil engineering projects, Chris moved into retail as European Head of Real Estate for Foot Locker and later Gap, before becoming MD Europe for leading global trade association, ICSC (International Council of Shopping Centers). He later joined CBRE as Head of Retail France & Senior Director EMEA. Before joining CBRE, and then after leaving, he has been running his own international retail consultancy, advising global brands, owners, investors and trade associations on strategy, expansion, restructuring, and repositioning. Today he also has executive roles as a Co-Founder or MD, or board member of emerging brands, young companies and start-ups. While a former Global Governing Trustee, he still holds a leadership role at ULI (Urban Land Institute), is a keynote speaker, Master of Ceremonies, conference organiser, and is a published author (2 books). He is recognised as a Global Thought Leader, a Top Retail Expert (RETHINK RETAIL), and has won an industry award (ICSC). Currently based in Paris, he has lived in 6 countries and is multi lingual.
