Overview

This page explains how to submit a nomination to the ECDMA Global Awards. For the official rules that govern eligibility, scoring, fees, and publication, please read the Terms & Conditions.

Step-by-step nomination process

  1. Select your category
Start on the Awards Categories page and choose the category that best fits your achievement. If you are unsure, pick the closest category — the Organizing Committee may reassign a nomination to a more appropriate category where reasonable.
  2. Prepare your evidence
Strong nominations include clear objectives, context, your approach, and evidence: metrics, outcomes, product screenshots, dashboards, public links, case studies, testimonials, media mentions, or independent validation.
  3. Complete the nomination form
Write clearly and concisely. Use numbers where possible (growth, conversion, retention, ROI, cost reduction, delivery time, engagement, etc.) and explain your baseline and timeframe.
  4. Pay the nomination fee (if applicable)
Some categories are free to enter; others require a nomination fee at checkout. See Fees & Payment.
  5. Submit and receive confirmation
After submission you should receive an email confirmation. If you do not receive it, contact [email protected].

Eligibility basics

  • Relevance: the nomination must relate to e-commerce, digital marketing, or the wider digital commerce ecosystem (including technology, platforms, HR/talent, content/media, events, education).
  • Recency: achievements should fall within the published recency period (typically up to 36 months prior to the end of the Standard Application Period).
  • Right to submit: you must have the right to share the content you provide and the right to grant the Organizer permission to publish winner announcements.

The full eligibility rules, including disqualification grounds (e.g., misrepresentation), are defined in the Terms & Conditions.

After you submit

  • Administrative check: the Organizing Committee screens for completeness and basic eligibility.
  • Assignment to judges: nominations are assigned to judges with relevant expertise and screened for conflicts of interest.
  • Criteria-based scoring: each category uses a published scoring framework (criteria & weights).
  • Quality review: the Organizer may conduct consistency checks and disqualify nominations that breach the rules.

Important fairness note

All nominations are evaluated within the same judging period using the same published rules. The Awards Program does not offer “priority” judging, paid acceleration, or any service that would alter the scoring process or outcomes.
